Yet Another Cruise Line Alters Sailing Due to Propulsion Issues
Just days ago we blogged that Royal Caribbean has canceled several sailings in early February due to propulsion issues with one of its ships. Now, another cruise company is announcing that it, too, will have to alter sailings due to engine issues.
Officials with Princess Cruises announced that the company is altering a number of sailings, including the ship’s current sailing, which will skip up to three of its originally scheduled stops.
CruiseHive.com reports that the company said, in a statement, “one of our diesel generators was taken out of service due to a technical issue. Our technical experts have been working to repair the generator, however, they have determined that the repairs will take longer than expected. While this is no way affects the safety and security of our guests, it does restrict our ability to operate at full speed.”
