Video Shows Deadly Collision Involving Brightline Train
Local news stations are reporting that there is a video depicting a fatal collision involving a Brightline train Tuesday afternoon.
WSVN.com reports that the crash occurred in Oakland Park when an elderly woman stopped her vehicle on the train tracks at Cypress Creek Road near Dixie Highway. It was then that “I heard this big bang. It shook the whole building,” a witness said.
The new footage from a camera at a nearby business captured the moment the train collided with a car that appeared to be stopped at the tracks. https://t.co/eNxztO7QPd

The bang was the train crashing into the vehicle which another witness, Matt McIsaac, said dragged the vehicle “like 100 yards.”
Apparently, the footage shows the victim attempting to go around the safety guard rails before stopping on the tracks, the report says.
