Vehicle Drives Into Crowd At Daytona Beach – Injuring Four
A car crashed through a crowd of people in Florida on Sunday, leaving several people injured.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred at Daytona Beach just before 5:00 p.m. during a time that local officials allow vehicles on the beach sand.
The vehicle went through an unattended toll booth, striking it, then crashed into the crowd before entering the water.
Four people were injured in the crash, including a 3-year-old child. The child and the driver of the car were both hospitalized following the incident. At the last report, the child was in stable condition.
Volusia County officials are investigating the crash.
