News: Vehicle crashes into side of building in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A driver was hospitalized after a vehicle hit the side of a building in Fort Lauderdale Monday morning, WSVN reports.
The incident, which was captured on surveillance video, happened on the 2800 block of Sunrise Boulevard.
The SUV barely missed striking a couple walking by in the vicinity. A Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue firefighter who responded to the scene told a reporter the two people “were seconds away from getting hit.”
No details were available on the condition of the driver, and the cause of the crash remained unclear.
