Witness Wilda Rosalio said “There was smoke everywhere. I didn’t know about the officer until I came outside. I saw the [police car] with the airbags out, and it was smoking. Then I see that car [red sedan] hit that car [parked vehicle].”
Though the report does not indicate who may have been at fault for the collision, it does say that the police officer and the driver of the other car were both injured and transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
