Two Girls Injured When Boat’
Two girls were hospitalized following a boating incident that left them with severe burns.
WSVN.com reports that the victims, both children, were aboard a boat sailing near Beer Can Island Saturday afternoon.
Apparently, the vessel suffered engine problems causing a flash fire, burning both girls.
First responders transported the girls to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The report did not indicate their current medical status.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
