Tourist from Alaska Dies While Diving at Islamorada
A tourist is dead following a diving incident at Islamorada Friday.
WSVN.com reports that 57-year-old Juneau, Alaska native Jean Kilgore was diving in about 40 feet of water near Runway Reef when she unexpectedly suffered from an issue in the water. The report does not indicate the nature of the incident.

Once on the surface, Kilgore lost consciousness. First responders rushed her to Mariners Hospital, where she later died.
Authorities continue to investigate the tragedy.
