Three Americans Dead and One Hospitalized After Falling Ill At Sandals Resort
Three people are dead and another is in the hospital after falling ill at a Sandals Resort in the Bahamas.
Local10.com reports that the victims suffered from a “health emergency” at the resort, but the nature of the emergency is thus far undisclosed.

In a statement about the tragedy, Sandals said “Nothing is more important to Sandals Resorts than the safety of our guests. It is with deep sadness that we can confirm the passing of three guests at Sandals Emerald Bay on May 6, 2022.”
The fourth victim was evacuated for treatment in South Florida and is currently being treated at Kendall Regional Hospital.
All of the victims are American citizens.
