Tesla Recalls Over 6,000 Vehicles on Brakes Worries
Electric vehicle maker Tesla is recalling over 6,000 vehicles on worries that the vehicles’ brakes may be defective.
The recall covers Model 3 years 2019-2021 and Model Y years 2020-2021, reports the HindustanTimes.com.
The defect concerns the brake calipers which could could “allow the brake calipers to separate and contact wheel rim,” leading to a loss in tire pressure.
There have been no reported crashes or injuries related to the issue according to the filing that Tesla made with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
