Royal Caribbean Building Ports All Over The World
RCCL is building ports all over the world. This way, the cruise line will control revenues at those ports as well. RCCL is partnering with a Mexican company, ITM Group, to form a new “destination company” Holistica. This company will spend $275M to redevelop Grand Bahama Island as a cruise destination.
These ports and destinations and islands and other properties owned or operated by the cruise lines are part and parcel of the cruise itself. And the cruise line controls the operations of them as a practical matter. For these reasons, incidents where negligence causes injuries on these properties are governed by the maritime law and the cruise lines should be responsible for them.
Attorney John H. (Jack) Hickey and his team handle a wide range of cases, including but not limited to cruise ship accidents, admiralty and maritime accident cases, medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, railroad accidents and car accidents. We represent victims from all over the nation, the world and the state of Florida.
