Police Arrest Woman In Connection With Fatal Hit-and-Run In Lauderhill
A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in Lauderhill on Saturday.
WSVN.com reports that the victim was crossing the road in the vicinity of State Road 7 and Northwest 13th Street at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning when a vehicle slammed into her and then fled the scene.

First responders rushed the victim to Broward Health Medical Center but she later died from her injuries.
Police arrested a woman driving a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze as the suspected hit-and-run driver.
Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash and continue to investigate.
