Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in West Palm Beach Thursday night, WPTV reports.
The person was hit by a vehicle in the area of Okeechobee Boulevard and Spencer Drive at about 6 p.m. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver stopped after the pedestrian was struck.
The incident prompted authorities to shut down westbound lanes of Okeechobee Boulevard from Loxahatchee Drive to Spencer Drive. The roads were reopened late Thursday night.
