Pedestrian Airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center Following Hit-and-Run
Rescue workers transported a pedestrian to the hospital by helicopter after a vehicle struck the victim in Florida City.

WSVN.com reports that the collision occurred at about 8:30 p.m. near Northwest Sixth Avenue and Eighth Street, but did not give the circumstances surrounding the collision.
First responders airlifted the victim to Jackson South Medical Center for treatment. The victim’s condition is not currently known.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the victim reportedly fled the scene, in violation of Florida law.
