News:Motorcyclist dies, passenger injured following Boca Raton hit-and-run crash
BOCA RATON, FL – One person was killed and another injured in what police said was a hit-and-run crash in Boca Raton Thursday, WPEC reports.
The incident occurred on the exit ramp from Interstate 95 north of W. Palmetto Park Road, where investigators said a car struck a motorcycle while both were on the ramp.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger on the bike was seriously injured and taken to Delray Medical Center.
The driver of the car continued west on W. Palmetto Park Road after the crash without stopping to help, police said. The vehicle they are looking for was described as a four-door silver or light-colored sedan.
