News: Woman struck by hit-and-run driver in Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH, FL – Police say a pedestrian was struck in Miami Beach by a driver who left the scene, WPLG reports.
The incident happened Monday night as the woman was crossing West 63rd Street in the area of Indian Creek Drive. Investigators said she was not crossing within the crosswalk at the time she was hit. She was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
A search is now underway for the hit-and-run driver responsible for the crash. No description was immediately released of the vehicle being sought.
