News: Woman killed, 2 sons injured in Florida Keys parasailing accident
MARATHON, FL – A parasailing accident in the Florida Keys Monday evening left a woman dead, reports NBC Miami.
Authorities said the woman and her two sons were on a parasail that crashed into the Seven Mile Bridge west of Marathon at about 5 p.m.
The mother was pronounced dead at the scene, while her two sons were hospitalized. No details were released on their conditions.
The incident is under investigation by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Police said the family had been taking a vacation in the Florida Keys.
