News: Woman hospitalized following boat collision in Biscayne Bay
BISCAYNE BAY, FL – A collision between two boats in Biscayne Bay over the Memorial Day weekend left a woman injured, reports WSVN.
The incident involving a 20-foot Sundancer and another vessel occurred Saturday between North Bay Village and Indian Creek Village near Miami Beach at about 4 p.m.
The U.S. Coast Guard along with Miami police and rescue squads arrived at the scene, and the injured woman was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center .No details on her condition were released. Other boaters sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the crash.
