News: Woman fatally struck by SUV while crossing street in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV in suburban West Palm Beach Sunday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The victim was identified as 46-year-old Lisa Pitnick of West Palm Beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said she was walking on Community Drive near Military Trail at about 2 p.m. when she entered the path of a westbound Toyota SUV and was struck. Pitnick was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, a 75-year-old woman from suburban West Palm Beach, was not injured.
The sheriff’s office did not indicate whether any charges would be filed.
