News: Woman fatally struck by county transit bus in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Authorities said a pedestrian was fatally struck by a Broward County Transit bus Thursday morning, WSVN reports.
Rescue crews responded to the scene near 101 Northwest 1st Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
First responders determined that a woman had been hit by the back tire of the bus. Officials did not immediately release the name of the 50-year-old victim.
