News: West Palm Beach woman killed in Lake Park SUV accident
LAKE PARK, FL – A driver passed away of injuries sustained in a car accident in Palm Beach County last week, authorities said.
The Palm Beach Post reports the victim was identified as 49-year-old Sonia Lewis of West Palm Beach.
The accident happened Sept. 8 on Congress Avenue in the vicinity of Watertower Road and Park Avenue West in Lake Park. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Lewis was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe in a development of commercial buildings when she went through a four-way stop and into a parking lot. The Hyundai crashed into a brick wall, then hit the back of a car that was unoccupied.
Lewis was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where she died Monday night.
