News: Truck driver killed in multi-vehicle wreck on I-95 in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A truck driver died after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident in West Palm Beach Monday night, WPEC reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that took place in the southbound lanes of I-94 near Forest Hill Boulevard at about 9:15 p.m.
According to the account of a witness given to the FHP, the driver of a car lost control after being cut off by another vehicle and crashed into the side of a truck.
The truck went off the right side of the interstate and flipped multiple times, while the car that was cut off spun out and hit the back of a marked FHP patrol vehicle parked at an exit ramp.
The truck driver, a 35-year-old Orlando man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people in the car that was cut off and a FHP deputy who was inside the patrol car sustained minor injuries.
