News: SUV slams into SW Miami-Dade restaurant, injuring passenger
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – State troopers say an SUV slammed into a restaurant in Southwest Miami-Dade last week, leaving one person injured.
According to WSVN, the incident happened after a collision between two vehicles near Diced on U.S. 1 near Southwest 90th Street on Thursday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of a Mercedes-Benz SUV was pulling out of a parking lot at about 12:40 p.m. when the vehicle struck a Toyota sedan. The SUV continued over several lanes of the highway and then hit the restaurant. A passenger in the SUV was taken to Jackson South Medical Center, but no details were immediately released on the person’s condition. No other injuries were reported.
Investigators were continuing to look into the accident to determine which of the drivers was at fault for the collision.
