News: Driver dies in crash after losing control of vehicle on Julia Tuttle Causeway
MIAMI BEACH, FL – A driver died in a crash after losing control of a vehicle in Miami Beach early Saturday morning.
CBS Miami reports the incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Julia Tuttle Causeway on the exit ramp to Alton Road at about 4:46 a.m.
Police said the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into some trees. The driver, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car at the time and no other cars were involved.
Miami Beach police are trying to determine the cause of the fatal wreck.
