News: Several injured, including toddler, in NW Miami-Dade collision
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A car accident in Miami Gardens Thursday afternoon left several people injured, reports WSVN.
Two cars were involved in the collision in the vicinity of Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 183rd Street at about 3:45 p.m.
A toddler was reported to have been seriously injured and was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Another person was also hospitalized with injuries that were less severe.
No details were released on what led to the crash, which involved a total of eight people. Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene.
Investigators are now trying to determine the cause of the accident.
