News: Police searching for driver who struck pedestrian in SW Miami-Dade, left scene
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police are searching for the driver who struck a pedestrian in southwest Miami-Dade County and then left the scene.
WPLG reports the man was struck by a car Monday morning in the vicinity of Southwest 112th Avenue and Southwest 184th Street. He was transported to Jackson South Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
A search is now underway for the driver and vehicle involved in the crash. Police described the car as a four-door gray Hyundai believed to have heavy damage to the roof and hood, that was last seen heading off on 184th Street.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Miam-Dade Crime Stoppers.
