News: Police officer hospitalized after collision with vehicle at Miramar intersection
MIRAMAR, FL – A police officer was hospitalized following a car accident in Miramar on Wednesday morning, reports NBC Miami.
The crash took place in the vicinity of Flamingo Road and Pembroke Road at about 6 a.m. According to Miramar police, the officer’s car was struck by another vehicle as police were clearing the roadway from a previous incident.
The officer was listed in stable condition after being taken to an area hospital. The other driver was not hurt.
Westbound traffic on Pembroke Road was closed while the scene was being cleared and investigated.
