News: Pedestrian dies following multi-vehicle collision in Hialeah Gardens
HIALEAH GARDENS, FL – A school bus was one of four vehicles involved in a fatal accident in Hialeah Gardens Tuesday afternoon.
According to NBC Miami, the incident took place in the vicinity of Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 77th Avenue sometime before 4:30 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was struck by a Dodge pickup truck that was going south on State Road 826.
The pickup continued on and hit an Audi sedan, a Honda sedan and a school bus.
The pedestrian, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Audi driver was hospitalized at Ryder Trauma Center. Minor injuries were reported among the passengers on the school bus.
State troopers said a blood test would be done on the driver of the pickup to determine whether he was impaired at the time.
