News: Passenger dies after car crashes into pole in Boynton Beach
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – Authorities are investigating a car accident in Palm Beach County Friday night that left a woman dead.
WPTV reports the wreck occurred on Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach at 10:13 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the driver of a 2017 Audi was headed west when the car approached a curve and went off the roadway. The Audi then slammed into a concrete pole,
A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Jennifer Fortin of Lake Worth Beach, died of her injuries the following day.
The driver reportedly fled the scene and has not yet been identified. The sheriff’s office said a man walked to the scene and tried to speak with Fortin after the crash.
