News: Overturned mixer truck shuts down I-75 ramps in NW Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – An overturned cement mixer truck disrupted traffic in northwest Miami-Dade County on Thursday morning.
Total Traffic Miami tweeted an alert to drivers after the incident occurred on Interstate 75 near the Homestead Extension at about 8:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.
The ramps from I-75 north to the Florida Turnpike, I-75 south to the turnpike, and Miami Gardens Drive to the turnpike were all shut down.
Drivers were advised to use Miramar Parkway to Red Road to pick up the turnpike northbound or take the Palmetto Expressway north.
