News: Multi-vehicle crash blocks southbound lanes on Florida’s Turnpike
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A multi-vehicle crash slowed traffic on Florida’s Turnpike Thursday morning, WPTV reports.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident involved a tractor-trailer and occurred near the exit for Port St. Lucie at mile marker 145 at about 10:30 a.m.
There was no immediate word on any injuries resulting from the wreck.
The southbound lanes of the turnpike were blocked, and traffic was being diverted at exit 152 for Okeechobee Road. Drivers were advised to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
