News: Motorcyclist struck by hit-and-run driver in Miami Springs
MIAMI SPRINGS, FL – Police say a man on a motorcycle was injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Miami Springs Tuesday night.
According to WPLG, the motorcyclist was riding on South Royal Poinciana Boulevard when he was hit near Sheridan Drive at about 9:40 p.m. The man was critically injured and was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was expected to survive, authorities said.
The driver involved fled the scene after the crash. Police are now searching for what is believed to have been a white vehicle. Anyone with further information about the incident was asked to call Miami Springs police.
