News: Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with SUV in Central Broward
CENTRAL BROWARD, FL – A collision in Central Broward sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with severe injuries, Tamarac Talk reports.
First responders and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the scene Sunday morning near the 1600 block of South State Road 7.
Investigators determined that 33-year-old Walton J. Antoine was riding a Can-AM Spyder motorcycle when he struck a Ford Escape SUV that was making a U-turn at about 4:47 a.m.
Antoine, of North Lauderdale, was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries that were described as life-threatening. The driver of the SUV, 35-year-old Carlos Mendez-Perez of Fort Lauderdale, stayed at the scene after the crash and was said to be cooperating with investigators.
