News: Motorcycle rider killed in collision with vehicle on I-75 south
WESTON, FL – State troopers were on the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Interstate 75 Thursday night, reports WPLG.
The Florida State Patrol said a 25-year-old motorcycle rider was traveling south on I-75 near Indian Trace in Weston when he collided with another vehicle.
The motorcyclist, a Naples resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The FHP said the driver of the other vehicle was a 68-year-old man from Weston.
Two lanes were shut down on I-75 during the crash investigation.
The majority of motorcycle crashes involve another vehicle, and motorcyclists are vulnerable to severe or even catastrophic personal injuries because of their relative lack of safety devices. The Miami motorcycle accident lawyers with Hickey Law Firm understand the specific needs of injured motorcyclists, and will work hard to secure compensation for clients who have been the victim of traumatic accidents.
