News: Motorcycle passenger killed in accident near West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Police say a passenger on a motorcycle died after a crash in Palm Beach County Saturday night.
According to WPTV, the incident occurred on Southern Boulevard at the overpass for Florida’s Turnpike near West Palm Beach.
Investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office determined that 30-year-old Brandon Alford was operating a Kawasaki Ninja 600 motorcycle when he struck a median of the overpass at about 7:20 p.m. The motorcycle flipped, and Alford and his passenger were both ejected.
The passenger, 24-year-old Cambria Brill, struck a tree and was declared dead at the scene. Alford sustained minor injuries.
The sheriff’s office is continuing its investigation into the crash.
