News: Miami man killed when motorcycle collides with car on I-95 south
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a sedan in Broward County Thursday morning.
According to NBC Miami, the incident occurred on Interstate 95 south at Pembroke Road at about 2 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the 40-year-old motorcyclist hit the car from behind while both were in the southbound lanes.
The motorcycle rider, a Miami resident, was pronounced dead after being taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, a 36-year-old Miami man, was not hurt.
Lanes were shut down on I-95 for over five hours before reopening later in the morning.
