News: Miami-Dade police identify suspect in fatal hit-and-run
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police have identified the suspect they are searching for in a fatal hit-and-run incident in northeast Miami-Dade County.
In a tweet posted Monday, police said Sean Michael McEvoy is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. He is sought for a traffic fatality that happened May 23 in the area of Biscayne Boulevard and NE 114th Street at about 5:20 a.m.
NBC Miami reports the victim was a pedestrian who was fatally struck by a Volkswagen Jetta while crossing the street. The driver left the scene without stopping to help.
