News: Miami Beach police officer injured when car crashes into golf cart
MIAMI BEACH, FL – A collision between two vehicles in South Beach on Saturday night left a Miami Beach police officer injured, according to NBC Miami.
Police said the officer was operating a golf cart in the area of Ocean Drive and 9th Street when the cart was struck by a car.
The officer suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and was transported to an area hospital.
No details were released on the circumstances that led to the crash. Ocean Drive was shut down in the aftermath of the incident before reopening later.
