News: Man killed when scooter collides with truck near Boynton Beach
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Authorities say a man was killed in a collision involving a scooter and a truck in Palm Beach County Monday morning.
According to the Palm Beach Post, 34-year-old Lennox Ferguson was riding a YNGF Rocket scooter on Boynton Beach Boulevard near Acme Dairy Road when the accident occurred at about 5:45 a.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Ferguson crashed into the back of an Autocar truck that was making a turn onto an access road. Ferguson did not slow down before the collision, investigators said.
Ferguson, a Delray Beach resident, was pronounced dead after being transported to Delray Medical Center.
