News: Man killed when motorcycle crashes on I-75 exit ramp in Broward County
PEMBROKE PINES, FL – An investigation is underway into a deadly motorcycle crash in Broward County Tuesday morning.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports a man lost control of his motorcycle while heading northbound on Interstate 75 in Pembroke Pines shortly before 1:30 a.m.
The motorcycle crashed on the exit ramp for Pines Boulevard and the rider was thrown over the front of the bike, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The victim, a 41-year-old Miami resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
Authorities shut down three right lanes of the highway and the Pines Boulevard off-ramp for several hours while the scene was being cleared.
