News: Man killed when golf cart collides with car near Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – A man was killed in a crash between a car and a golf cart in Palm Beach County last week, reports WPTV.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said 67-year-old Frisler Moise was driving the golf cart on Yamato Road west of Boca Raton when the incident occurred Wednesday shortly before 3 p.m.
According to investigators, Moise was operating the cart improperly outside the Woodfield Country Club when he made a left turn and entered the path of an eastbound Acura MDX that was traveling in the center lane of the roadway.
The driver of the Acura, 36-year-old Analee Ehrlein of Delray Beach, could not avoid the collision and hit the left side of the golf cart.
Moise, a Lake Worth Beach resident, was thrown from the cart and was pronounced dead at the scene. Ehrlein and two children who were passengers in her vehicle were not injured in the crash. No charges have been filed in the case.
