News: Man injured in personal watercraft accident in Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH, FL – A collision involving two personal watercrafts in Miami Beach left one man hospitalized, reports WSVN.
The victim was a man from Maryland who was on vacation in South Florida with his wife. According to Miami Beach Fire Rescue, the two were on the water in jet skis near 16th Street when the man collided with someone else riding a personal watercraft.
The victim’s wife, Erica Gales, said he was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital to undergo surgery for an ankle injury.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
