News: Man facing DUI manslaughter charge in fatal Boca Raton crash
BOCA RATON, FL – Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a deadly crash in Boca Raton in February.
This is an update to a previous story.
According to a report by WPEC, 24-year-old Sebaciano Cheridor of Delray Beach faces multiple charges, including DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
Investigators said Cheridor was driving a Mercedes-Benz in the 2800 block of North Federal Highway near NE 29th Street on February 20 when he collided with a 2012 Nissan driven by 51-year-old Leann Michele Cheatham of Boynton Beach. Cheatham was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Data from the recorder inside the Mercedes indicated Cheridor was driving at about 116 miles an hour just prior to the crash, authorities said.
