News: Man arrested after crashing stolen truck into Boynton Beach building
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Police arrested a burglary suspect who crashed into a building in Boynton Beach while driving a stolen truck last week, NBC Miami reports.
An arrest report stated that 52-year-old Gino Anthony Puglisi broke into a car sales shop early Friday and stole a number of items, including the truck, before taking off.
Police said Puglisi refused to stop when an officer tried to pull him over and became the subject of a high-speed police pursuit.
According to police, he then slammed into a building on W. Boynton Beach Boulevard and left the scene on foot. He was located on the porch of a nearby apartment, where police said he had been pretending to grill.
Puglisi was arrested and now faces several charges, including grand theft of a motor vehicle and burglary.
