News: Lanes closed on Florida’s Turnpike in Palm Beach County following fatal crash
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol tweeted that it was at the scene of a fatal crash in Palm Beach County Tuesday morning.
NBC Miami reported that the incident involved two passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer. It happened near the exit for Glades Road shortly after 4:30 a.m. One person was reported to have died at the scene.
The FHP shut down all northbound lanes of the turnpike in the area for several hours for the crash investigation.
Traffic was diverted off the exit to the Sawgrass Expressway at the 71 mile post, and motorists were advised to find alternate routes.
