News: Lanes closed on Florida Turnpike due to 18-wheeler accident
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A portion of the Florida Turnpike was closed in Miami-Dade County Wednesday morning following a truck accident, WSVN reports.
Authorities said an 18-wheeler lost its load and rolled onto its side near the exit for Northwest 106th Street shortly before noon. The incident caused a crash that involved a total of four vehicles. No injuries were immediately reported.
The northbound lanes of the turnpike were shut down for about two hours, causing major traffic delays through the area.
