News: Injuries reported after multi-vehicle crash on Florida’s Turnpike
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – A multi-vehicle accident disrupted traffic for hours on Florida’s Turnpike in Palm Beach County on Tuesday morning.
WPBF reports the incident took place on the turnpike’s southbound lanes near Boynton Beach Boulevard sometime before 6:15 a.m. One of the vehicles involved was a truck, which caught fire.
The Florida Highway Patrol said there were injuries in the wreck, but no details were released on who was hurt.
All lanes of the turnpike were shut down near mile marker 85 while the scene was being cleared before reopening over six hours later.
