News: Hit-and-run accident in Deerfield Beach leaves 3 hospitalized
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to a hit-and-run crash in Deerfield Beach early Wednesday morning.
WSVN reports the collision occurred near a railroad in the vicinity of Southwest 10th Street and Dixie Highway shortly after 1 a.m.
One of the vehicles involved was a silver sedan. The driver of that vehicle and two passengers, including a child, were hospitalized. No details were immediately available on their conditions.
Authorities said the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Southwest 10th Street near the scene was closed off for the accident investigation.
