News: Driver sought in hit-and-run that killed woman in SW Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police say a woman was struck and killed by a driver who left the scene in Miami-Dade County.
According to WPLG, the incident occurred Tuesday morning on Southwest 152nd Street near Harding Lane. Police said 52-year-old Odalys Galvez was walking across the street at about 5 a.m. when she was hit by a vehicle. Galvez sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop to help after the crash, and is now being sought by police. No description has been released yet of the vehicle.
Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run was asked to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
