MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A driver is being sought in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Miami Gardens, according to WPLG.
The incident occurred Friday morning in the area of Northwest 32nd Avenue and Northwest 183rd Street. Family members said 57-year-old Kerry McCutchen was crossing the street while walking home when he was fatally struck by a car.
The driver kept going after the crash without stopping to help.
Authorities are searching for the driver and vehicle involved, which was believed to be a 2016 Mercedes Benz C-Class with tinted windows. Investigators, who have surveillance video of the suspected car, said there is front end damage on the driver’s side and the black plastic housing from the driver’s side wheel well is missing.
Anyone with information about the incident was urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
