News: Driver sought in Fort Lauderdale hit-and-run that killed bicyclist
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Investigators are trying to track down the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Fort Lauderdale April 29, WPLG reports.
According to police, 57-year-old Allen Trowbridge of Fort Lauderdale was riding a bicycle when he was struck and killed by a vehicle on North Federal Highway at about 3:41 a.m.
On surveillance video, the driver can be seen getting out of the pickup truck and checking for damage before leaving the scene.
Police have now released a description of the vehicle they are looking for, a grey, newer model Ford F-150 made between 2018 and 2022 that has damage on the front passenger side.
